Jackson's Bay.
04/03 Ad Med Gull Scalby Mills (colour ring PAU2). Twelve Pink-footed Geese
Scalby Lodge.
06/03 5 Med Gulls at Holbeck (4 ads + 2w)

Female Smew still at Wykeham Lakes. Three Whooper Swans in fields with
nine Mute Swans West Ayton Carr.

22/03 Female Common Scoter in the harbour this morning. Marine Drive
(07.15-08.15) ; Red t Diver, 9 Common Scoter, 3 Eiders, 200 Fulmars, 80
Gannets.
23/03 Pink-footed Goose Scalby Lodge Pond, waders at high tide included 30
Redshank, Ringed Plover, 80 Oystercatcher, 51 Turnsone. Red-t Diver in the
harbour. Chiffchaff Peasholm.
24/03 Ad Little Gull and Pink-footed Goose Scalby Lodge Pond. Two Shags off
Marine Drive plus six flew north and three Red t Divers. Three Red t Divers
around the harbour, 26 Purple Sandpipers and 40 Redshank at high tide.
25/03 Knot, five Ringed Plovers, and three Pink-footed Geese Scalby Lodge
Pond
26/03 Water Pipit and three Pink-footed Geese Scalby Lodge Pond.
Red-breasted Merganser on the Mere, female Scaup at Burton Riggs. Four

27/03 Two "Nordic" Jackdaws at Seamer Tip plus a 2w Glaucous Gull, Sand

Scalby Beck. Goshawks displaying in the forests. Four Mandarins Hilla Green.
28/03 Three Red-t Divers and G C Grebe around the harbour. Female Scaup
still Burton Riggs. Dipper Wrench Green28/3 Sand Martin Ebberston
