16/12 Slavonian Grebe off Cromer Point. Desert Wheatear Cromer Point. Black-throated Diver harbour. Nine Red-throated Divers North & South Bays. RB Merganser Scalby Mills. Five Med Gulls Holbeck (4 ads + 2w), also three Knot on rocks. Water Rail still feeding with Moorhens at Northstead Manor Gardens.

Wykeham Lakes (private site): redhead Smew, Black-throated Diver, 8 Gadwall, 2 Goldeneye, Shelduck, 4 Whooper Swans, 1w Glaucous Gull & ad Yellow-legged Gull in roost. 550 Brambling & 30 Crossbills Flax Dale, Dalby Forest.
18/12 Desert Wheatear still Cromer Point. Black-throated Diver Harbour. Nine Red-throated Divers Cloughton to Cayton Bay, also 9 Shags, 6 Eiders, but only one Guillemot. 60 Fulmars Cloughton Wyke. Pink-footed Goose Scalby Lodge.
19/12 Desert & Northern Wheatears still at Cromer Point. Two Short-eared Owls Star Carr. First-winter Iceland Gull & adult Yellow-legged Gull in Wykeham gull roost, also Black-throated Diver still there. Twelve Whooper Swans Seamer Carr
20/12 Redhead Smews at Scalby Lodge Pond and Wykeham Lakes (private site). Black-throated Divers at the harbour and Wykeham Lakes. 13 Whooper Swans at Willerby Carr. Iceland Gull at Scalby Lodge Pond.
