01/04 White Stork Irton up to 10.25 am then flew north (seen in Cleveland this pm). Two Bar-tailed Godwits Scalby Lodge Pond. 1w Med Gull, White Wagtail, and Little Ringed Plover Wykeham Lakes (private site).

08/04 4 Tundra Bean Geese & 1 White-fronted Goose in fields south of Wykeham Lakes this evening. Access from Garth End Road, drive to end & park near farm. Walk 1/4 mile down track to view fields on right. Common Scoter and Goosander on lakes (private site). Two Mandarins Hackness Lake, Dipper on stream. Yellow Wagtail with cows by Scalby Lodge Farm. Marsh Harrier in off sea at Long Nab this morning
09/04 4 Tundra Bean Geese still at Wykeham Lakes (morning only). White-fronted Goose also. Red Kite flew south there. Two Lesser-spotted Woodpecker in Forge Valley just north of the "birders" car park plus a Blackcap singing.
10/04 White-fronted Goose Wykeham Lakes. Two Wheatears Marine Drive, behind wall. Jack Snipe Cromer Pond. Two White Wagtails 11Sand Martin  Scalby Lodge Pond.
11/04 Wheatear Cromer Point. Swallows Jackson's Bay & Cowath Beck.

15/04 3 Eiders & Red t Diver Jackson's Bay. Bar-tailed Godwit Scalby Lodge Pond. Lesser-spotted Woodpecker Forge Valley  Scandinavian Rock Pipit Cromer Pond. Red Kite over Cloughton 13.30.
16/04 Juv Glaucous Gull Scalby Lodge Pond 10.30. Whimbrel Jackson's Bay. Blue Fulmar past Long Nab. Lesser Spotted Woodpecker Forge Valley. 2w Iceland Gull, White-fronted Goose, 2 Ruddy Ducks Wykeham Lakes (private site). Common Buzzard, 6+ Red Grouse, 2 Stonechats Fylingdales Moors.

22/04 Black Redstart behind Marine Drive wall 06.30am. Grasshopper Warbler "stile scrub", Scalby Lodge. Eleven Ring Ouzels Stoupe Brow, Ravenscar this eve. Also at Ravenscar today, 100 Fieldfare, 24 Wheatears, Whinchat, 2 Tree Pipits, 40 Willow Warblers, 3 Yellow Wagtails, ad Lanner flew north (escape). 2w Iceland Gull Wykeham Lakes this eve + imm male Marsh Harrier. Swift over Forge Valley

23/04 First Common Sandpiper reports today; 2 at Burton Riggs, 1 Scalby Beck. Green Sandpiper at Scalby Beck. Lesser Whitethroat & 12 Blackcaps Burton Riggs. 2 Whitethroats Scalby Lodge. Nine Ring Ouzels still at Stoupe Brow, Ravenscar

24/04 Imm Glaucous Gull in pig fields West Heslerton 16.15 hrs. Eight Ring Ouzels Stoupe Brow, Ravenscar. Two Wheatears Marine Drive. Swift over Snainton.
25/04 Marsh Harrier south over Scalby 14.45 hrs. Two Garden Warblers "stile scrub", Scalby Lodge. Merlin Osgodby. Four Redstarts, Tree Pipit, Whitethroat Low North Camp. Two Sandwich Terns North Bay. Eight Ring Ouzels, 12 Wheatears Ravenscar.
26/04 Sedge Warbler in rape south of Scalby Lodge. Eleven Wheatears Ravenscar. Swift over Ramshill
27/04 Escaped Maned Duck Burton Riggs.  Ravenscar - 1 Ring ouzel, Grasshopper Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, and 1 Swift north
29/04 Cuckoo and Tree Pipit Low North Camp. Two Manx Shearwaters, 3 Puffins, Whimbrel past Long Nab. Grasshopper Warbler just north of hut. Fieldfare and 7 Wheatears Ravenscar.
30/04 Three Whimbrel Wykeham Ings. Goshawk, Common Buzzard and 2 Redstarts Mowthorpe, Chiff Chaff Sea Cut
