02/09 Green Sandpiper, 4 Dunlin Scalby Lodge Pond
03/09 Long Nab (17.00-19.00); Juv Long-tailed Skua north, Pintail, 13 Sooty Shearwaters,4 Arctic Skuas. Eleven Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Pintail Scalby Lodge Pond.
04/09 Marine Drive (18.45-19.50); 38 Little Gulls, 74 Common Terns, 4 Arctic Terns, Sooty Shearwater, 6 Manx Shearwaters, 4 Arctic Skuas. Eleven Black-tailed Godwits, 5 Dunlin, 4 Stonechats Scalby Lodge Pond.
05/09 Eleven Black-tailed Godwits, 8 Dunlin, Ruff Scalby Lodge Pond. The Godwits also visited Town Farm Pond, Cloughton in the morning. Twelve Stonechats and a male Merlin on moorland at Ravenscar. 160 Little Gulls past Long Nab in eve

09/09 Lesser Whitethroat Scalby Lodge.  Little Stint, 2 Shoveler at Scalby Lodge Pond. 80 Little Gulls past Marine Drive 16.45-17.45 hrs, 153 Common Terns, 1 Arctic Tern, 6 Arctic Skuas. Two Sooty Shearwaters, 21 Little Gulls from Regal Lady 11.30-12.30.
10/09 Little Stint, Knot, 2 Shovelers Scalby Lodge Pond. Great Shearwater north past Long Nab 17.38 hrs. Two Brent Geese south. Little Stint still at Scalby Lodge Pond.
11/09 Long Nab (06.10-09.30); 2 Great Shearwaters north, 85 Sooty Shearwaters, 21 Manx, Velvet Scoter, 7 Shelduck. One of Great Shearwaters was also seen from Marine Drive.Another Great Shearwater north past Long Nab at 17.40 hrs. 35 Red-t Divers, 77 Teal, 157 Wigeon, Pintail, 13 Arctic Skuas, 5 Bonxies, 20 Arctic Terns past today.
12/09 30 Pink-footed Geese SW over Scalby also Marsh Harrier S there. Ruff and two Knot Scalby Lodge Pond.
13/09 Scalby Lodge Pond; Long-tailed Duck, 3+ Spotted Redshank, Greenshank, Knot. 100 Pink-footed Geese S + 7 Red-t Divers Long Nab

14/09 Long-tailed Duck at Scalby Lodge Pond again (missing early am), also Shoveler, Spotted Redshank(am), 4 Dunlin, 69 Teal, 5 Sand Martins. Whinchat Scalby Lodge.
15/09 Long-tailed Duck Scalby Lodge Pond. Long Nab (06.10-09.30); Great Northern Diver, 19 Red t Divers, 9 Sooty Shearwaters, 26 Manx Shearwaters, 10 Arctic Skuas, 5 Bonxies, 15 Pink-footed Geese, 12 Little Gulls.
16/09 Long-tailed Duck Scalby Lodge Pond, Knot and 2 Dunlin.
17/09 Long Nab (09.00-14.50); 40 Pink-footed Geese, 60 Little Gulls, ad Med Gull, 120 Common Terns, 30 Arctic Terns, 10 Bonxies, 7 Arctic Skuas, 200 Razorbills, 16 Red-t Divers.
Little Egret flew west Scalby Lodge Pond, Long-tailed Duck still.
18/09 Long Nab (06.00-15.00); Little Auk, 2 Leach's Petrels, Balearic Shearwater, Pomarine Skua, 120 Sooty Shearwaters, 34 Manx, 3 Brent Geese (one Pale-bellied), Scaup, 170 Arctic Terns, 200 Common Terns, 20 Little Gulls, 25 Red-t Divers, 8 Arctic Skuas, 8 Bonxies
19/09 Long-tailed Duck again at Scalby Lodge Pond this morning, also 5 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover.
20/09 Wryneck just south of Scalby Lodge Pond at 14.30 hrs for ten minutes before leaving towards Scalby Beck. Also Long-tailed Duck still, 2 Shoveler, 4 Dunlin, Peregrine and Wheatear.
Sooty Shearwater, Great Skua, 2 Little Gulls past Long Nab. Two Wheatears Castle Headland.
23/09 Arctic Tern and Pintail at Wykeham Lakes this eve, also 400 LBB Gulls roosting. Couple of Wheatears Castle headland

29/09 Possible female American Wigeon Scalby Lodge Pond 14.45 hrs, but not since.
Juvenile Sabine's Gull, Black-throated Diver, 14 Red-throated Divers, 40 Dunlin past Marine Drive (06.55-08.05). Garden Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, several Redwing Castle Hill this eve.
30/09 Ring Ouzel, Redstart, and Lesser Whitethroat Castle Hill. Spotted Flycatcher at Long Nab, 550 Pink-footed Geese south. Garden Warblers at Ravenscar and Hayburn Wyke. Two Little Stints and Pintail at Scalby Lodge Pond  Pink-footed Goose with 21 Greylags Town Farm Pond, Cloughton
